Hi! My name is Jack Brosnan. I’m a Chicago-born (yes, actual Chicago), anime-loving, rap-and-rock-worshipping copywriter with big agency, small agency, freelance, and fry-cook experience. I’ve also tossed some pizzas.

AWARDS: 2 Silver Clios & A Silver Effie (I never looked good in gold anyway)

My journey so far is outlined in painful detail in my resume, but if long lists are not your thing, here’s what I’ve been up to lately (…in a shorter list):  

• Got promoted at Deloitte Digital to a Senior Copywriter.

• Went on production to shoot three spots for AAA Insurance. I learned that there are professional duck wranglers, that only the props team is allowed to break windows on set (boo!), and what Wisteria Lane is (we shot two of the spots on the Universal Back Lot).

• Helped launch the best boy band ever “Boys No More”…that just happened to be an AAA Insurance ad.

  • This won 2 Silver Clios. But more importantly, a Cheetah Girl commented “The most genius thing I’ve ever seen!!!!” on the video and who can put a worth on that.

• Helped pitch & win the Dave & Buster’s business, it certainly was not all fun and games (but mostly, it was).

• Helped create some Bread & Butter tv spots. I learned that California is very hot in June, to always wear black when sweating, and there is an amount of La Croix that can make your stomach hurt.

• Helped pitch & win the LTK business. Then, made their first-ever advertising campaign, including 3 TV spots that got featured in AdWeek. It helped them exceed 10 million downloads, a big congrats & thank you to them.

• Still living in NYC. The train is better than Chicago’s. So is the pizza. The summers are much worse. Rent too.
